Hipcamp

This is my number one choice for camping and glamping. Unique locations hosted by authentic land owners.

VRBO

I’ve had excellent experiences with VRBO. Lots of options for lodging and the hosts are always helpful.

Hilton Hotels

My favorite for hotel stays. I used Hilton hotels for almost our entire road trip across the country and they were excellent for what our family needed. Very kid-friendly!

Hostelworld

Hostel are not just for international travel. This is a great, cheap option if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in a lot of U.S. cities.

Booking.com

A great tool to use for accommodation searches. Offers more than 28 million reported accommodation listings which also includes homes, apartments, and other unique places to stays, not just hotels.

Camera gear for travel

Sony A7iii

My personal camera for travel. Lightweight and very high quality. Excellent in low-light and great for family outings if you’re carrying multiple things (or kids).

Zecti camera Bag

The camera bag i use. Padded for protection, looks great and holds all my gear plus some baby wipes and snacks!

24-70 lens

CONSISTENTLY my favorite for travel. Very versatile!

Promaster tripod

This tripod is lightweight but not too much that it blows over in wind. It’s the perfect balance and fits right inside my camera bag.

Blackrapid camera strap - right handed

Blackrapid camera strap - left handed

Blackrapid camera strap - double

I’ve used BlackRapid since shooting weddings years ago. They made durable, simple straps.
